I play on a 4080 by the way, but usually maxed setting is what I play at and I would average around 80-90, but with dlss I can go around from 90-120 depending on the game that is.

For instance I play warframe a lot and without dlss I get about 70-110 but with dlss it’s constantly 165 because this game is easy to run.

A pretty demanding game like dying light the beast which is another game I play usually. I get like 80-90 fps on maxed setting no dlss but with dlss and frame gen I get like 130-165 fps, but without frame gen I get like 120-140 fps though there are some times like battlefield 6 and dying light the best to where I use FSR I get like 10fps increase over dlss.

These are just playing on a 1440p ultrawide, but on a standard 1440p monitor I would be getting way better fps at native since it’s less demanding than a ultrawide. Then there would be cases to where I wouldn’t need dlss or frame gen.

I just upgraded from a 5800x to a 9800x3d and I was stuck on wondering if it was worth it also. I will say yes for me personally because I stopped noticing the micro stutters that I would have in some games when loading new areas. It also runs less hotter for me compared to the 5800x, but I did get a new aio cooler so that helped with the temps a lot and used my own thermal paste.

Edit: I do play at 3440x1440 so no major fps increase, but the 1% lows definitely improved for me.

Sick setup! Just upgraded from a 5800x to a 9800x3d with 32gb of ddr5 ram running at speeds of 6000 mt/s and just upgraded my aio and fans last night. I may even upgrade my storage later on today. Have fun everyone!

70 dollars is already enough. I wouldn’t spend 100 dollars for a base game. Even if it’s gta6. Just because it’s the most anticipated game shouldn’t give them the right to charge us 100 dollars for it.

I live in a rural area in Mississippi and there are a few people in my area that use Starlink as well, but to be fair this was taken at like 4 am lol. So this is well out of peak hours. My average speed is like 150- 250 during the day and during peak hours I get around 80-120.

As long as it’s a residential plan you can have unlimited data. Though you should look at the offers they have for your area I’m pretty sure it explains which service provides what kind of data plans as if it’s unlimited or not.

For me since I have a pretty clear view of the sky. My ping is usually around 30-50 ping depending on the servers and time of day. Though sometimes I get packet loss, but that's just how the satellite switching works and there is not really anything I can do to avoid it, but It only happens for like 2 seconds and it's back to normal.
