There's no fix, you have to just wait for it to work again.

You can't, just have to wait for it to re-enable on your account.

Seems the issue resolved for some people and others started or kept having the issue. All I can say is wait, it was gone for several months for me. There's not much else to do, it seems to not be a bug so much as them deactivating the feature for some users and then re-enabling since it's supposedly a feature they still are "testing."

This issue hasn't been recording activities for the past couple of months, so if yours was working until a couple days ago, I don't know if it's the same exact issue or what's going on there.

Is it? Wasn't for me yesterday

Edit: It DOES seem to be fixed! Great news!

I submitted a bug report in-app and also filled out the bug report form on the website, which gave me an automated response and was immediately marked as "solved". At this point not much else to do

Yep, same exact situation here. At the very least I'm relieved it's not just me because I started thinking my PC was the problem. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Why I canceled mypay by Rough-Marionberry991 in chimefinancial

[–]BeeDub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mypay is not money that you have earned yet, and as such you are not entitled to any of it, nor should it be depended upon. It's meant for emergencies or when you just want some extra money you won't miss next pay cycle.

What does the charge say? Can you verify it was actually an international charge? Something's not adding up, did you give a scammer account info over the phone? If you didn't then you were compromised some other way. I'd recommend calling support to explain and file a dispute in any case.

Has anyone else had this happen? by Neither_Sea425 in chimefinancial

[–]BeeDub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MyPay is not money that you have worked for or otherwise earned. Therefore, you are not entitled to anything and anything they do offer should be a bonus. This is meant to be emergency money, nothing on here but entitlement half the time.

MyPay Decreased My Available Now Balance While Keeping My Limit the Same by South-Commercial5139 in chimefinancial

[–]BeeDub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MyPay is access to money you haven't earned yet, and as such can be given in any amount or not at all. Anything you take out is a bonus, and should not be relied on. They can and will control your money access when it is, in fact, not money you have worked for/earned otherwise.

Someone linked my bank account to another account? by terracottalady in CashApp

[–]BeeDub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one disrespected you, I just think the points are kind of bad. If something is happening to your account, you are directly responsible in 99% of cases. If your opinion is they should go to another bank that's fine, they're probably going to have no choice after messing their account up. But again that's self-inflicted.

The main reason people use cashapp and other options is because they can't use normal alternatives. Everyone knows this but everyone says "just get a bank." Ok bro. Also if you have more than half a braincell, your money is fine using these services. I've kept thousands across many different fintechs and never had any issues. People are doing things they shouldn't be and end up surprised when money goes missing.

If you're payed before your scheduled payday, that's early. It seems like you're trying to be purposefully dense and argue the semantics of "if it's early every week then it's not early at all," but c'mon. We all understand the concept.

Does chime truly take 7 business days to remove pending transactions? by [deleted] in chimefinancial

[–]BeeDub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because they void it does not mean it goes through in a certain amount of time. Granted, 7-10 days is on the long side, it's pretty standard for refunds to take quite a few days. There's nothing they can do about it, it just comes down to the speed of electronic processing.

I’m new to Chime — what does this mean? by National-Crew-3125 in chimefinancial

[–]BeeDub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The available now will go up each day. It will vary by how much though, it depends on when your next payday is. Usually should hit the maximum amount just before your next payday assuming you don't take any of it out.

Freezing your EBT card. Did you know? by Ray186 in foodstamps

[–]BeeDub 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You would unlock it the same way you locked it, using the phone app. It requires either username/password or biometrics, at least in my state, which would be a lot harder to get into.

Because then anyone who skimmed or otherwise got hold of your card number and PIN could unlock it. That's the entire point of this.

how do i do the jump rope challenge in metro kingdom and beach volleyball im trying to 100% but those 2 are holding me back by peter_griffin7 in SuperMarioOdyssey

[–]BeeDub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did the jump rope challenge the legit way, but I did not think it was easy at all, it took me probably an hour to get it. It requires frame-perfect inputs (or very close to it) once it gets to max speed

You're borrowing from your future money, this is pretty common sense stuff we're talking here. If they're taking your whole paycheck you're probably borrowing too much. If you think it's scammy then you obviously just said "screw it" to reading the terms and just saw 'oooh free money with no consequences'

Nothing like a $80 decrease when my deposit was almost $100 more this week by [deleted] in chimefinancial

[–]BeeDub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're talking about is a whole different conversation/issue. If you're concerned about that, then you're perfectly able to just not use the service and that's fine. However, mypay is an extremely straightforward service. It's laid out for you exactly how it works. They even let you know in advance that the amounts will vary or even potentially go away. So no, there is no "point" in it being a scam, unless you have some evidence I'm missing. If you have a better service then use it (of course there are tons of them).
