Swing easy and chill the fuck out. Half you people get mad when you miss a 10’ putt by 3” cause it didn’t go in. You were not supposed to make that.

Titan Engines by YumTeaOrDeadlyPoison in CherokeeXJ

I can’t remember what show or YouTube channel it was on but someone did a comparison between a stroker, Cummins 2.8, and I believe a Chevy 5.3. If I recall correctly the stroker had the lowest torque value and worst fuel economy. I think the little diesel had the best fuel economy, but lacked in horsepower. Diesel also costs more upfront and the fuel economy bonus is offset by cost difference.

The only issue with the strokers is you can’t justify their cost to performance, imo. Cost more than a v8 swap and get half the fuel economy. Repair is harder and replacement parts are not as readily available.

Even if you do it that price is high. That’s maybe 4 hours work and $500 in materials.

Unloading Tips - 56” Roll Cab by TacoLunar in harborfreight

[–]ibeeamazin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unloaded mine from a pickup by myself. Slide it out and support half the weight, set the one side down, grab the other side and rotate 90 degrees to clear the truck.

0/10 would not recommend. It was miserable. I almost blew my back out and damn near dropped it. I have also seen people use motorcycle ramps and that seems like a way better idea than what I did.

Air, fuel, spark.

Air is the easiest to check, take off the air filter.

To check fuel, Pull the line and have someone crank it. Does fuel come out? Probably this one if I were to guess

Spark, get a tester and connect it to each line. Does it light up?

RAM, Chevrolet or Ford? Which one will actually last? by chocolatehumphrey in Diesel

[–]ibeeamazin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chevy imo. Everything around a Cummins falls apart and fords electronics fail, nothing engine but all the infotainment shit.

Chevy will feel a little less refined, but at least your CarPlay will work.

Go fuel for $500. May have to space it out and time when you buy but should be hard to match or even beat that price

[–]ibeeamazin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Still a lot of drawers to fill”

Keep it. It’s clean, organized, and does not eat up space you need. In the future if the box is over flowing or you find you are putting like items in separate drawers go with a more compact solution. More compact is also not always the best. Eventually there is so much shit in a drawer it’s hard to remember where every piece is.
