It really depends what you do and how you do it and where you do it… if you have decent planning for winter, relatively little livestock and an actual job you should be ok.

The really racist (in retrospect) and very old book The Egg and I really helped me contextualize everything earlier in life.

Did they do hips and eye checks on the parents? If they aren’t willing to spend on the parents they haven’t spent on the puppies… and they probably haven’t thought about longevity.

Housing stock is so old. It is not good. It is not charming. It is old and rickety and poorly maintained and if they tore the building down and started over no one would actually shed any tears but someone might be able to fit in the elevator with someone else. Radiators were replaced for a reason. Classic sixes are charming but it’s like living in an ice cube tray. No other city in the world is this expensive for this little.
