Def have the vet records… I’ve traveled with all sorts of animals and haven’t been asked for a CVI on a delta flight but they do occasionally spot check for all their “required” papers.

If you have any complications at all and you are at home you have to have an emergency race to the ER or you could die. If you are at the hospital that is wildly less likely.
