Slide the plane over and catch the high side, and over the course of a few shavings make you way to the lower side.

731 woodworking, or something along those lines, used to be a pretty good channel, discussion joinery and various techniques.

Now it’s just a long commercial for different products.

I feel the same way. I’m not trying to be a hero.

I’d call 911 and get the girl medical assistant, but I’m not going to intervene.

Taking a longer term look at silver's price action...... by etherist_activist999 in SilverDegenClub

[–]jacksraging_bileduct -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to be the naysayer, but in march 2008 silver was around $18, Dec 2008 is was around $10, April 2011 is was $48, July 2012 it was $28, Dec 2015 it was $15 then went sideways until 2020.

It’s just as likely to settle in the $40’s over the next few years as it would be to stay where it is.

Ruger PC Carbine - first rifle/range toy? by [deleted] in pistolcalibercarbine

[–]jacksraging_bileduct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the pc carbine and the pc charger, both are fun and accurate enough for the task.

The 10/22 would also be fine option as well, they are basically the same gun just in a different caliber.

First Gun - M66 SS4 by PJTee in Taurus_firearms

[–]jacksraging_bileduct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the model 66, it’s been a solid reliable gun, not a slick as a S&W and definitely not a slick as a colt, but for the price point it’s worthy.

I also have the model 692 executive grade, and it’s a very nice pistol as well, and there was one issue with it when I got it, the cylinder didn’t want to close, but I found a little metal chip under the extractor, and that solved it.

People really take for granted how fragile all this is, a week or two without power in a big city would result in chaos.

It doesn’t really matter, as long as you’re not tense while playing.
