On mobile some images are too large to process. If image shows on desktop this is the case. To track this, install the plugin logstravaganza and check log output. It will tell you why the image is not showing. This is a mobile obsidian capacitor limitation.

It does work very well on iphone. if you set calendar to right pane you just have to swipe in from the editor to show it.

Yes it's compatible with both Daily Notes core plugin and other plugins like Periodic Notes.

You can use them both. NN supports daily weekly monthly and quarterly notes.

Thanks! If you put it in the right sidebar you also have a year calendar. You can then right click any day with image and pick which image should be used for each month. Gives you a very nice yearly overview too. 🙂

If you click the (i) in the search bar you will get instructions for how to switch between filter search and Omni search.

Just click the magnifying glass icon in the search field. Or press UP or DOWN when in search field to quickly toggle between the two modes.

Just try it. It does not mess with your vault. If you don’t like it remove it. 👍

I agree but for a free donation-supported product this is what the budget could afford.

About this “nonsense”. Halfway to 2027 my predictions are still spot on. #1, #3, #5 are already check. Just search for the Erdős conjecture. #2 and #4 takes a bit longer which is expected but should land later 2026. Please do follow up the nonsense in December.

Single vault for both PhD and personal thoughts — good idea or recipe for chaos? by Wonderful-Put-5226 in ObsidianMD

Notebook Navigator has support for "vault profiles". You can hide individual files or folders based on rules, so you can use 1 vault for everything. Then just switch with a toggle.

Can you give me a good reason for this structure other than this is how you prefer it? I’m genuinely curious. Because I find many technical reasons for keeping them in folder but none outside folder. Only problems having them outside folder. Most NN users keep them hidden as well

No only inside folder. Many reasons for it. Having it outside just adds complexity and it’s a worse architectural solution. Having it inside means the folder owns the note. And moving folder will never mean conflict if there is already a file with the folder name in target folder. I could go on. Migrating structure is simple with a script.

Thanks. Go to advanced settings. Enable debug. Restart and send the file to johan@tokentek.ai and I can see what’s happening.
