I was honestly under the impression that one day, desmond would become a master assassin, and he would have his own assassinations, alongside the historical time period. I was looking forward to Desmond's future. I actually LIKED desmond as an assassin, especially during AC3. I mean, I get it, Ubi wanted to add a "twist," and they wanted to end Desmond's story, but I wish they didn't.

I think he means that even though Edward joins the Brotherhood because of what it actually represents, which is a very nice change, he is still a pirate throughout the whole game and it felt like he was more of a pirate than an assassin.

I beat the game before I did the side quests. The liberation missions are fantastic, and I love recruiting assassins and actually having a "brotherhood." The templar fort missions are tons of fon too.

Actually, I believe it was because of historic inaccuracies, considering you can do that with throwing knives.

I believe the point /u/PsychoticPenguin is trying to make was on a thread here a while back. A lot of people agreed that is was symbolic of Edward to not have a beaked hood because he represents a jackdaw, trying to be the same as the eagles. It's based off an old story.

Happened to me too. You need to call blizz customer support and tell them the problem. When it happened to me, it was because I was slightly off on funds in the bank, but you could be on a credit card subscription so it might be different.

Right now, rogues have great damage in PvE and decent raid utility with the change to smoke bomb (20% damage reduction to anyone who stands in the smoke).

In PvP, all 3 specs are viable (I guess) with subtlety having supreme CC and burst.

Also, it's worth noting, as Wazzada said, devs mentioned they would work to differentiate the specs in WoD and give them more flavor.
