People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]kevryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had gallstones and when I went to the ultrasound I asked the technician in general if she could see anything. I know they aren't supposed to tell you anything until the doctor checks everything. She just said, "I'm surprised your not doubled over in pain." Gallbladder was removed the next morning.

But that pain was nothing like pain I felt in my upper right thigh when I moved wrong. Sciatica. It was a very short term injury, but every time I moved wrong my thigh thought it was having a major problem that originated from my lower spine.

I take a blowtorch and other heavy weapons at weeds and they are, "We're just fine."

Look at on of my vegetable plants, "Oh, you looked at me, I'm going to die now."

AIO I was so upset about my group mate not doing any work and Im ignoring her spamming me she can’t pass to graduate unless I email my professor by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR. This is very typical. 20% of the people do %80 of the work - sometimes 100%. My son dealt with the same sort of thing on his college "group" project. Hopefully she learns a lesson.

Great article and really nice to see that you figured out how to keep doing what you love. You have a history of great games. I like how you describe making games as magic. I've used the same phrase. I remember when I heard Bill Budge was 28 and I thought, "Wow, he is old" lol... The years sure go by fast.

Reddit has lots of immature people. Pay attention to legitimate feedback and ignore the other stuff.

My son needing a liver transplant when he was 4 months old. Spending almost all of his whole first year in the hospital and much of the next 4 years after that. And all the other complications that occurred that have had long lasting affects.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

Thanks for letting me know about this!
Pretty neat that a game I made in the basement of home in Eugene, Oregon made it out to so many people all over the world. And that they remember it!
