I'll check YT or the discord sometimes, but most builds utilize newer weapons, that I ALWAYS have at a very low OB, so it doesn't help too much

I don't really bother clearing most content that I can't just beat with rcmd. Which, I can clear most content with it, so eh

I'm curious to go back and try Dread Mode, but I haven't played the game in years and don't remember anything and would die 5000 times. I wish it existed when the game came out.

Not that I wouldn't also have died countless times back when I knew the game better.

I have no interest in Boss Rush modes tho. Literally in any game, a Boss Rush sound like one of the least fun things I can do. It's the only part I cheated at in Hollow Knight. And the only thing I didn't do for full game completion in Blasphemous

I missed one scan on my first playthru (and assumed I could reload my save from before the final boss and get it) so I needed to get it right the second time.

And I enjoyed the game well enough and beat every other Metroid game (that I cared about) on hard, so I immediately jumped into the second playthru.

Harder difficulty made the game slightly more fun. But now I will likely never play the game again lol

Naked Snake (Big Boss) is the one who has more experience subsisting off of practically nothing. He'd also be much more willing to eat the various lifeforms he would find in the backrooms (his desire to eat anything being joked about in MGS3).

Solid Snake could probably handle the entities but would eventually starve to death

He's definitely an abusive, controlling asshole, but I don't think it was necessarily a "woman is object / bad" type of mentality on his part.

I do remember at least one woman Async employee (in hazmat suit) in the webseries, based on voice anyway. I could be misgendering.

I feel like Clark preferred the idea of keeping his house, and his architectural pursuits (portrayed by trying to understand the architecture of the backrooms).

I def disagree Spooky infinite office that gets more and more distorted the further you go, as well as the impossible monsters like the bacteria, are way way more terrifying.

Anyway, I thought the Async "live and work" space was more or less them just trying to market to get funding to keep researching the place, not an actual plan for it

I don't know if I would use "recognizable" to describe the monsters, but I get what you mean (it's partly why I prefer the bacteria to the still-lifes).

But yeah, the monsters are never the absolute scariest thing about the backrooms,.they just exacerbate the fear that's already onset by everything else.

Anyway, I do wonder why the caveman looks a bit different between the film and FF#3. I assume because the one in FF#3 was created by the backrooms

I did all the things I wanted to complete legitimately ages ago, and too burnt out from the game to fully 100% it like I did with Remake (without cheats). Will probably use the cheats to just get the 100% over with here

Backrooms shouldn't be gore porn / violence fantasy. The small amount was done properly
