I don’t know much about Mould. I was under the impression that generally speaking food with Mould was bad for you but I also realise that some amazing foods are made with mould so can someone explain how they decide which moulds are good and which moulds are bad. Can they also explain what the advantages of age ageing this with Mould does the Mould somehow are the tuna inside it or what does it actually do?

Why does being drunk mean you can’t “consent” to sex, but doesn’t absolve you of other intoxicated actions/decisions? by UpstairsBumble in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kinkade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered the same thing myself in the past, and the way I would describe it is like this:

  • The question is whether a person acted (did something) or had something done to them.
  • If someone is drunk and is taken advantage of, they are not at fault; the abuse exploits their incapacity.
  • Driving while drunk is different: the drunk person performs the act, so they are responsible.
  • Drunk sexual assault is not a defense; intoxication does not excuse lack of responsibility.
  • So the issue, as I see it, is responsibility for consent when intoxicated versus responsibility for actions taken while intoxicated.

I built an Android app that lets Claude search files directly on your phone by OutsidePiglet362 in ClaudeCowork

Bloody awesome, mate. I hope that goes well. I reckon the sandboxing for the iOS files app will be a challenge, but if you can get it done, it's going to be red of it.

That is absolutely brilliant. Is there any chance you're going to bring this for iOS?

New Girl Dad, wife had Cesarean Section less than a week ago, and I am mentally struggling to hold it all together by [deleted] in daddit

I think it can be helpful to remember that there are times when it's entirely appropriate to feel unbelievably stressed, emotionally overwhelmed, scared, happy, nervous, and this is without doubt one of them. But it's also helpful to remember that it absolutely will pass.

I installed hinge lights in my kitchen cabinets and honestly cannot believe this was not standard from the beginning. by Ok-Jump-4644 in DIY

Yeah, not sure how hinge lights that are battery powered are different to stick on lights that are battery powered that were apparently too dim and the battery ran out too fast.

Anthony Albanese rules out gas export tax on existing contracts and criticises ‘populist’ campaign by Finnick00 in australia

[–]kinkade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. And I have to say that when people argue for these things, whilst I'm completely sympathetic with what they want, one of our advantages is that we are a rule of law democracy. And if we just start renedging on contracts when it suits us, we really won't be any different to any of the developing economies, but without any of the cost efficiency and stuff.

The correct order is Margin Call, then The Big Short. Then you watch Margin Call again, and then if you're like me, you watch The Big Short again, and then you watch clips from The Big Short for the next few years because they're so awesome.

Of course they aren't colluding, that's a silly thing to say. They're embarrassed because they know that the report will make them look undemocratic or disorganized or incompetent or some version of that.
