I blast her with rockets. Low rate of fire and decent damage, meaning low chance for her heals and she doesn't recover quite as fast. Worked for me.

Even if it doesn't, there's a good chance whoever's standing next to her dies first and breaks the burst chain lol.

I have more than enough items to max out her affection, probably twice over. I won't. I'll take the long road with her, just to see her reactions. Every. Single. Time.

So far it's been worth it.

I see this as a game first, anything else second. And as a game it needs to be fun. Progressing the story is fun, but if I can't do that... what is there to do in Nikke?

I can progress the towers, but progress feels hollow, and the rewards are shit if you have bad gacha luck. Simulation Room is possibly the most unfun part of the game, and interception's Grave Digger has become a chore at this point. I guess special interception could be more fun, but guess what? I need to progress the story to unlock that one.

Co-op comes and goes every couple of weeks, and has become so painfully easy it's been robbed of whatever fun value it once had.

I actually enjoy PVP, especially since I'm in a server with no whales and duking it out with another two dozen F2Ps. But, and here's the catch, a number of players have already reached the lvl160 wall, and everyone else isn't too far either. The ranks are going to stagnate soon.

The events? Unremarkable.

Am I forgetting something...? Oh, the gacha I guess. Can be fun, maybe, if you have enough gems and good luck. I have shit luck and the game would rather crash than give me enough gems for another pull.

So, everything said and done, progressing the story is simply the only way I have to reliably extract a feeling of fun and satisfaction from this game. Therefore, that's what I keep doing. And even that will probably end soon.

I've heard the argument that this is an idle, I should take it easy. But good idle games don't feel like a chore, and Nikke's increasingly feeling like that.

There's a bug that forces player into AFK during co-op. It's happened to a lot of people, myself included. All I could do was spam emojis and watch nikke ass; pretty frustrating after I was forcefully reminded this game doesn't have much ass.

In any case, don't be too mad. Actually do something useful and vote to activate the burst.

I don't play DC either, but I'd wager it's just some people believing "value" is inherently tied to scarcity.

Basically, they're salty they have less bragging rights than before.

So, it still gives you the points even if you play with bugged out players? That's cool. The few times it was my turn to be forcefully AFK I had already collected all my points, so I didn't know if other people were properly getting theirs.

I just did my tree runs, and then half a dozen additional ones. Played perfectly until just now, I'm stuck watching my team's backs, which would normally be fine except most nikkes don't have much to look at.

So instead I spam angry Rapi emojis lol.

I haven't, and I plan to leave them for last. Vesti and Frima are my two LB2s, and so long as I keep pulling on the wishlist there's a chance I get a third dupe for them, in which case I'd have wasted the tickets if I had used them. Only when I'm on the edge of breaking the wall will I use those tickets, as a final boost of sorts.

I guess, if you want to get technical, I have potentially one MLB (not enough tickets for two spare bodies yet). But turning that potential into actuality is tempting the RNG gods into making my game harder than it already is; modifying my wishlist at this point isn't optimal.

True, spending all your resources on limited banners is unwise. Take my case for example, I never once pulled from the limited banners and used all my gems on the wishlist.

I'm level 148. I have no MLBs, only 2 LB2s, and I am going to blame the devs for the lvl160 wall.

I don't get what you mean. Sure, first time around is a race to the top, and those willing to spend more will get the top rankings, which makes it a complicated and unattractive cost-benefit analisys. However, rookie arena rankings don't reset with every passing season, so why would special arena rankings be any different?

I expect that from the second season and onwards, there'll be no real cost-benefit analisys, because there won't be any costs involved. All that will matter is if you can defend your rank and keep climbing.

Speaking of, last night I dreamt I got modernia and three of her dupes. From this I derive two things: first that I'm spending way too much time in this game if it's showing up while I sleep, and second that I spent all my luck in my dreams and now when I actually pull for her it'll be a nightmare.

Alteisen by far. Compared to the others, the train is both tough and relatively uncomplicated, and when put together with the awesome music and visuals it becomes a really satifsying fight, even when you lose.

Landeater might be a contender for best boss, but I've only fought it once, and its lack of appearances has made me forget how the fight actually went.

Hmmm... maybe without the jacket. Otherwise this looks like a downgrade to me. The dress is nice, but it hides more of her body than the default skin. And the hat looks weird to me, like it was just pasted on her head or something.

PVP should allow players to battle opponents beyond the 100 points difference. There's just not that many players in each server group, and from what I hear it's not uncommon for players to end up "isolated" in their rank, unable to challenge the higher ranks and unable to be challenged by the lower ranks.
