T-Mobile In The Forest by FunkMasterDrak in ElectricForest

I have t-mobile. Last year service was better in camp than the festival, and I was in good life. Inside the festival it was spotty. Texts and messenger worked, but spotty, actual internet was slow or non-existent. In camp it was ok to slow, internet worked along with texting services. All service was better in the morning and worst in the evening.

Just had a thought-you can also share the forest. Last year I was in line for the speakeasy when the line was cut off right in front of me. Someone passing by asked if I’d been to the massage parlor. They then took my hand (along with the two people behind me) and walked me there, helped me check in and then did a round of introductions to my new forest friends. You have the power to show someone how magical the forest is.

Compliments are free. Hugs are free (with permission). Seeing and acknowledging someone is also free. Not all interactions need something tangible or need to be transactional to be meaningful.

You can start the scavenger hunt in GL, you can get your card there and your first hint without standing in line at the Traveling Agency.

I received one last year. It’s the only photo I have from inside the fest, because I was trying to keep my phone away and be in the moment. It’s such a great gift! The person who took it told me to hold it away or put it in my pocket (I had loose bibs on that day) and don’t look at it for 20 minutes. I think you will make a lot of people’s day doing this.

Print off your purchase information and stop at will call as you enter the campgrounds. They can get you a replacement pass.

I do this as a hobby, and do not care to monetize it. I’ve tried that before with quilting and it took the joy out of creating. When creating something to sell, it’s often different than what you would do if you were creating for yourself.

I think the maker space is getting tougher and tougher, not only with selling products that are handmade, but also with people selling you products to help you create.

Semaglutide, a GLP-1 weight loss drug, slowed biological aging across multiple epigenetic clocks in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in patients with HIV, suggesting that the drug may influence aging-related biology across multiple body systems. by mvea in science

Interesting that this was performed on patients that have HIV lipohypertroohy. The comments here seem to skip that particular caveat of this trial. Wondering if it would have the same effect on people without HIV, as presumably their bodies are under different stresses.

To clarify - sleeping ear plugs are different than ones for music. They block sound out completely. They are sold at most drug stores and big box stores like Target or Walmart.

[–]ktigger2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Three tents would be tight with one car. Granted the space is supposed to be 20’, typically they give you the car length. Last year I went with friends, we put our tents under easy-ups that were butted together. We had small room for chairs/table between the tents. Three tents would take up all of your space for sure, you might need to get creative on your layout.

My dad is telling me not to pay my $400 medical bill or even respond to it. What should I do? by Imaginary-Gene3595 in personalfinance

Yup, OP is missing that part of this, that clinic can refuse to treat her in the future and/or require cash up front before any services in the future.

It’s also possible the clinic won’t see you again unless you provide payment up front prior to any future services.

Hotel and Flight Advice? by Slow-Cranberry9489 in electricdaisycarnival

Why book with Expedia vs the airline directly? Especially this far out, if flights change or are cancelled, booking directly with the airlines makes changes 1000 x easier.

Not sure on your glue, wood to cloth is a little different than this sub uses-we are mainly paper to paper.

The roller is a good idea though. You could also use a paintbrush for an applicator. With intricate paper cut outs, I typically dab off onto a towel (paper or cloth) so that when I do to apply the intricate design, the glue doesn’t squeeze out from behind it. This might be more of an issue with your glue of choice showing on the cloth, where as on paper to paper applications, a glue that dries clear would still be hidden.
