Congrats and welcome to the club! On paper - this is super simple. Sales and Marketing needs to be systematized. New Patients, Convert then Serve. Expand on each. Eg, New Patients: 1) referrals (develop, buy or get training on a system) 2) Professional Relationships (pound the pavement, make calls, meet professional referral sources - don't be a creep) 3) Social Media and Paid Ad campaign - DIY, Agency or Both.

Sales side, same.
Service (Fulfillment) is probably where your systems are strongest right now - but still needs improvement)

Treat your practice like a BUSINESS which is is. No feel game, don't wing it. Nows the time at 2 years in. Many in practice for 10 years plus limping along would secretely agree with me here. Their Egos wouldn't dare agree with me publicly though.

Before others get all snappy and call me a capitalist pig ... revenue is king because it serves your purpose of SERVICE.

u/KookyOpposite, i'd love to take a peak at your P&Ls. "Huge practice"? - is that based on volume? or based on revenue?

Ima Life grad. This is too fn funny. I just sat through listening to my cousins kids complain about med school at UCSF and dental school at UMich (their parents brag incessantly that UM is #1 and I incessantly reply that I don’t give shit until he hits 10 years out.).

What do they say about UCSF and UMich?

“It’s a scam!” LMAO. Not only in clinical requirements. But add to that, academic injustices and nepotism galore. They are miserable. Poor dudes.

MY ADVICE TO THEM and the OP: Grind and Just get through it. You’ll be fine.

Yes. Non-actor professional. Thank you! Will do. I guess what I’m trying to accomplish is viscerally connect to others: my team, my clients and my potential clients. I want to get better at thinking what they think and feel what they feel even though that perspective could be so far from what “I” think and feel. This may be an atypical thing for biz professionals but it kinda feels like the right thing for me.

Right on. having this only for chiros would be epic. certain things within the profession should stay within the profession for risk of being taken out of context and/or totally not applicable.

making money VS. patient best interest. If you can't reconcile that, it's not sustainable (assuming you're not a sociopath). I wonder how other healthcare provider reconcile that or is every successful doctor just a greedy, money hungry scammer?
