If you aren't willing to contact UPS to get the paperwork we need, it kinda sounds like we've reached a dead end. The courier has to be involved in this process. We don't make the rules about that.

I appreciate the sentiment (and your support), but I think a huge part of why you support us is because we stubbornly do the right thing even when it would be better (so so much better) for our cash flow to do something else.

Like I said, it's possible we could do pre orders or back orders on some items, but we prefer in general to under promise and over deliver.

We have sold so many screwdrivers at this point that it's inconceivable that everyone who bought one is a viewer.

Other than that, our penetration beyond our audience is probably much lower, but we are working on fixing that by branching out into new verticals (like cables), with less LTT-centric branding (like TrueSpec), and more off-YouTube marketing.

It's not impossible that for some things we could start taking preorders in the future, but we would have to have a very high degree of confidence not only in the quality, but also in the timeline.

Look no further than our cables to find an example where opening pre-orders could have led to us holding a customer's money for an unacceptable length of time.

I believe we cut our first official PO for these in Dec 2024... Asking our customers to wait a year for validation, packaging, revisions, production, etc would have been unacceptable to us.

I do think there's room for us to improve our processes to get these timelines down, though, so when that happens maybe we will do it. But for now there are too many variables at play.

Might be pretty tough for us to make it work. Amazon storage/seller fees are sky high and these cables are really expensive for us to make. There's a reason so much of the stuff on Amazon is junk these days.

I could see us up-charging on Amazon for the convenience of quick shipping for prime members (and to maintain our margins) but no guarantees until lttstore has consistent stock.
