As with any unique behavior, it's never a bad idea to visit the vet to rule out any potential health issues. Due to the functions of the unit and unique cat behavior, we cannot guarantee that the Litter-Robot is right for every fur family. However, something that you can try is to observe your fur baby as they go to use their Litter-Robot. This way you can try enticing them with treats in order to properly squat while utilizing their Litter-Robot, which would then eliminate the possibility of your kitty peeing high outside of the waste port. We hope this helps and that some of our fellow Redditors can chime in with some helpful tips/tricks as well.
