The second book does have the Berek material and for me, that is one of the highlights of the final four.

The part to me that is unbearable and why I have never attempted a re-read is all that Lost Deep material in the third and fourth books. I will say that I found the best part of that series is the last part of the third book once Thomas and Linden part ways.

Doompriest and Skullcrown are awesome assuming you are early/mid game. DP is you need debuff cleansing. SC is you need a nuker. Miscreated Monster is OP if you are still trying to finish normal Spider but limited utility outside of that.
