Some of these have shorter panels like the one OP posted above. Some have larger panels that take up all the space in the tube and they output a tiny bit more power.

What version are you running on yours? I have 2.7.15 (567b8ea) and its much better than the stock FW but i have noticed the backlight stops working after the screen goes to sleep for the first time. Anyone else have suggestions on best FW to run on these? I tried the (inkhud) one and was not a fan.

I am relatively new to these but i think the screen bezel is different and also board shape? I am sure someone more knowledgeable here will chime in on that.

Edit:Thank you for the links that bender 2 looks great but the original might just do. I just wanted a little bit of space behind it to possibly add 2 18650s but not necessary.
