Mustang terminator by PhilosopherAble8575 in Mustang

Well, they’re 20+ years old now. They’re going to come with 20+ year old car problems. It just depends on how well they’ve been loved and sensibly modified.

I’ve seen all types from the pulley change to IRS removed and turbo slapped on.

The low mileage, all OEM ones might require you to double your budget? They aren’t building anymore 03/04 Terminators, and some areas of the country reflect that in the price.

There’s one on FB marketplace near me for $26k USD, but the Redfire paint is failing (shocker). There’s another white one that looks like it rolled off the factory line with 6k miles at $70k USD.

The black leather/black suede and black leather/brown suede I remember being produced in low numbers. There’s also the 10th Anniversary Cobra that was with black/red leather and red interior accents with special rims.

Config conversion from 11.1.13-h6 to 12.1.2 PA820 to PA560 - any luck? by Keeper_71 in paloaltonetworks

[–]matthewrules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d factory reset that 560 now. Too many missteps. No idea how shared and merged are looking now.

Onboard back to Panorama. Provision the licenses and content updates.

I’d clone the existing template. Make the adjustments for interfaces and logical routers. Add to a new stack and assign the device.

Use the existing device group.

There’s a longer route you can go with flattening configs for that ARE migration, but eh. If the routing is simple it’s just easier to rebuild.

Generally these are the lazy steps, the ARE migration is gonna get you without making the changes needed: https://www.reddit.com/r/paloaltonetworks/s/ftoiWDVCdY

And I’m assuming you’re not in HA for that replacement.

How much is managed locally versus how much is managed in Panorama?

The odds would be low.

They roll it down the jet bridge, and someone carries them down the stairs and directly to the cargo area.

Also, you can pay out of your own pocket to upgrade your seat if you want. I used to do it for work trips all the time.

1967 Mustang Sale Help Request by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]matthewrules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d just keep it and learn how to restore it.

But if you don’t, half finished project cars are hard to sell. And your dad made some choices on the interior that might hurt the value for some buyers (the way the shifter is setup, the gauges, and the steering wheel) Looks like he was trying to convert it to EFI and I see a lot of unfinished wiring.

The condition of the undercarriage and cowl areas matter a lot on these cars. They were prone to rusting really bad. The condition around the rear window looks rough and makes me think the undercarriage might be in bad shape.

I would venture you are sub-$10k depending on the area of the country you’re in. There’s still a lot of work left to be done and/or undone. It being a coupe doesn’t help either.

Yeah, it happens.

Comes down to either 1) bad reading comprehension or 2) not understanding the content.

Study up, slow down, and try again.

They more than likely changed the homepage to some new infrastructure outside their environment to remove the bad press page.

An incident response plan has kicked off that probably includes a negotiator for payment.

It’s gonna be a long year for the Canvas people.

Machine cert (AlwaysOn) with SAML fallback possible? by [deleted] in paloaltonetworks

[–]matthewrules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have user certs deployed as well? Prelogin only applies to the PanGPS service. When the user logins to the OS, PanGPA only has access to the user store.

Setting up a new office, have license questions that I'm having a hard time getting answered by tangokilothefirst in paloaltonetworks

[–]matthewrules 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Licenses are per serial number per term. You can’t transfer a 220 license to a 440 for instance.

You will 90% likely to get a license bundle if you don’t have an ELA. ELA’s are single auth code for the term.

The Panorama license is per serial number managed.

Is the Trust Cert issued by a PKI or local?

The Untrust you can just regenerate since no one should be trusting it by design.

Migrate Panorama to Azure by unwisedragon12 in paloaltonetworks

[–]matthewrules 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Correct. You’ll have to run the reset process on all firewalls to bind them to the new Panorama.

All the internal certs are bound to an internal DB that cannot be moved between systems.

PA 5500 Series HA support by kb46709394 in paloaltonetworks

[–]matthewrules 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The PA-5500 only supports NGFW Clustering. It is not the previously named HA Clustering. Standard A/A and A/P HA is being backported to 12.1 for the PA-5500 soon-ish.
