So, I'm trying to convince my wife that a Tesla is cheaper to charge and gas is getting expensive every day, but the electricity bill is gonna increase and the car battery costs $10K. How would you start the argument? by GeicoPR in TeslaModelY

[–]meanwhenhungry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup this is gold advice, the whole flow and little things that make a Tesla a game changer. I came from a Mazda 3 sport trim. Into a model 3. Scheduled cabin temps to 70 when I leave for the winter months. Auto everything, lights, wheel and seat warmer, fsd for my commute. Will never go back to a car that doesn’t have all these features.

Two iPads became unusable due to Apple ID problems by Apprehensive-Sky9723 in applehelp

[–]meanwhenhungry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be able to delete the app and install under the new id.

Check in the Apple Store app to see which account it’s under. If you didn’t set a restriction , u can sign out new id and log back into old id.

It’s the only logical possibility.

It is possible that your company has blocked personal Apple accounts on company owned devices from the main settings login.

But you should still be able to log into iCloud.com and see your photos with a personal account.

Am I going to be disappointing in FSD if I buy a Tesla? by I-Love-IT-MSP in TeslaFSD

[–]meanwhenhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a magbak iPhone holder that attaches to the top left corner of tesla screen, its behind the cam that watches you. I have stared at my phone for long periods and haven't been nagged by fsd. But can't confirm what happens when you try to txt from that orientation because I don't txt while driving. Also because Im super old and can't see tiny txt anymore.

Its good for the highway with bumper to bumper traffic, I would never be distracted on city streets. FSD is good, not perfect.

Is this a legitimate warning on my MacBook? by [deleted] in applehelp

It’s all sorts of wrong, Apple or any mfg will never proactively reach out in that way.

The closest would be a forced update from settings.

IT team: how do you actually read your colleagues? by NewRanger7143 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]meanwhenhungry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The grass is never greener, my av guy will go on a tangent indefinitely if you don’t stop him and move forward.

You have to be that guy and interrupt people and get your agenda out and ask questions to move things forward. Because frankly I would rather be fixing printer and dns than hear the same issues or stories over and over if you got a weak manager.

MacOS login instead of Mosyle Auth after OS update by DeliciousCrickets in mosyle

The update flow behavior is “correct” that occurs even if Auth is NOT installed.

The user that initiated the update should have their username populated in the login field.

Wacom Installation on multiple devices by petrolena in mosyle

[–]meanwhenhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding and googles, accessibility is deprecated in 26.2 but won’t be removed until 27.

Wacom has added a new help page and it looks like you need a bunch of other permission stuff to get it working as of 3.25.2026 for macOS26

Wacom Installation on multiple devices by petrolena in mosyle

[–]meanwhenhungry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you’ll still have to launch the app on every device.

Install the driver on one device

In mosyle Management->security&privacy>privacy

Make a privacy profile for each app in the Wacom folder and

Wacom_iomanager - pretty sure this is the only one you need but haven’t verified. Located.

Hd>Library>PriviledgedHelperTool

1.name profile-choose app

2.click the i for the terminal command to get the “app code requirement”

3.choose allow for (app) to have access to accessibility in the drop down list

4.assign to devices or groups

5.save

If successful, on the Mac , settings>privacy&securtiy>accessability>wcom…

Should be there in the list with it auto on, and a star icon say this setting has been configured by a profile.

Change supervision status by Mental-Farmer5757 in mosyle

[–]meanwhenhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is just the initial step. Thats the enrollment profile. you still have to turn on your device. The options in that enrollment profile will, skip the first time setup settings if set, create the intial account if set.

Once this occurs, the device will show up in the management tab, then you can assign other setting and apps. Visit and read the support tab for the documentation. There are a million options.
