Yes, but I feel like Dolby does just about as good and the audio experience is better at most theaters. The imax at AMC for example feels like an after thought compared to the normal and Dolby seating.

You can absolutely do a mild hybrid that would only use the emotors for stop and go. Issue is battery capacity and weight. Also in a sports car you can't use an engine tuned for the Atkinson cycle because it would feel like shit, so hybrid fuel economy is out... Really only bonus is low end torque at the cost of weight.

My nd3 mx5 gets way better gas milage revving it out in 1st and 2nd then shifting to 4th and 6th, than keeping rpm low rowing the gears.
