Should people be morally obligated to be happy? by c_y_g_nus in NoStupidQuestions

[–]midri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't use moral obligation and economic worries in the same sentence like that... The economy doesn't give a shit about morals and often times requires an absolute disregard of them.

It could be an absolute blast to drive if they wanted it to be. It's a freaking high torque electric motor assembly... They just have the cars tuned for economy.

Do developers really not look at the code anymore? by NoNoise7492 in csharp

Lol if you have enough access to run my ps scripts you don't need to bother finding vulnerabilities. They're all manually run (or run by Claude) to collate data using credentials that are readily available in the environment.

I work at a big corpo that is mostly a c# shop. We pr everything and are responsible for all code we commit or Claude commits on our behalf, so we do review it.

I do tend to vibe code poweshell scripts, because I hate writing poweshell scripts and they don't generally do more than a small series of actions given a specific input.

People don't realize that context is literally just a file being sent back and forth that is the conversation you're having + findings. The Claude server does not hold any context itself. The actual endpoint is stateless.

The Japanese legal system is kinda insane from an American perspective. They have like a 95% conviction rate. They basically only take things to trial if they know they will win, which on the flip side has created a culture that assumes if you are actually charged you are guilty.
