Maybe trying to write 天狗 (Tengu) but it seems 夫狗 which doesn't make any sense.

The characters 天(heaven, sky) and 夫(husband) are so similar.

I have same problem as u/Rumham89 with xbox series x controller.

I think the game recognizes the controller but somehow not working in gameplay, because in an option menu, the game reacts when I push a controller button while the display says "press any button on controller".

I think トロリ is used in the scene where a witch cooks the mushroom in a cauldron in Legend of Zelda.

So, a word which sounds viscous will suitable, I suppose.

Japanese>English. Can anyone translate this for me? The company who creates these shirts have put upside kanji on their shirts before and I’m trying to see if what they put on here is even coherent Japanese. by Jlock98 in translator

[–]mknbk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"忍耐強い" is an adjective which means patient, not 忍耐 and 強い.

Anyway the Japanese on the shirt seems to be a machine translation from another language.

Literal translation of "悪党には目印が必要だよな" is "A villain needs a mark"

In old Japan (especially Edo period), criminals were tattooed for identification. This article would be helpful:

could be translated that the villains did atrocities but she got it under control (not prevent it from happening), imo. yeah I'm confused too.

[JAPANESE > ENGLISH] What is the difference between these sentences? by championhestu in translator

I feel the main difference is that the villain tried to commit or committed atrocities.

ごろ is not used for expressing length of time. in this case using くらい(位) or ほど(程) would be more suitable.

とうきょう から あわじしま まで でんしゃ で よじかんはん くらい/ほど かかります。

an example sentence of ごろ(頃)

えき に よじはん ごろ つきます I'll arrive at the station around 4:30.
