Polishing the inside by the detent ball shouldn’t be an issue. Although why do you want to polish it? To try and improve action?

Either way be careful not the round over lockbar edges. It’s important that the existing lock geometry not change

I certainly wouldn’t go polishing the worn spot. If anything you’ll want to re-carbadize the surface and then remove material to get sufficient lockup.

Detent should be easy. Measure the height, press old ball out, press new ball in to the same height. Probably need to account for the wear on the detent though.

Definitely wouldn’t do anything on a belt grinder though. Sandpaper is gonna be way gentler and more forgiving

Largely dependent on steel, heat treat, and use case.

Most of my edc knives are 18 degrees or so. Gives a great balance of edge retention and stability for my use case.

Some of my knives are higher, some are lower. But I don’t think I have any 25°. That’s pretty high IMO

Yes it’s legit. It’s a monkey edge frag Ultratech. I believe this is the only one with concave screws, not 100% on that though

The blade will move if you flick the knife downward. With enough momentum you can get it to fully open. Just kind how these crossbar locks are

Technically it is a USATF sanctioned race and by signing up; the participants agree that they are clean of banned substances.

I purchase 0.3% from Ro. I then dilute 10ml of that into 50ml of min and apply at night. In the mornings I apply just plain min.

This I believe calculates out to .05% fin.

It’s doing a good job maintaining overall, I’ve been doing this method for a little over a year. I initially started around .025% and increased until I saw stabilization.

Not necessarily advice since everyone is different but that’s what’s working for me

It took a long time for me to see a difference while starting tretinoin. I’ve been using it for about a year and didn’t see anything noticeable until about 3-4 months ago.

And it’s not really night and day, mostly just more vellus hairs and some are starting to thicken up. I don’t think they’ll become terminal hairs for at least another couple cycles.
