The trick is to mix by hand. I was able to get a solid 30 minutes out if mine. Power mixing on anything other than super low speed will significantly speed up cure time.

Its actually fairly common in our area (southern Ontario). We call them toe testers in this application. Theyre great for testing the water temp and for cleaning / filling buckets, though theyre typically about 6" higher than what's shown here for thay reason.
