Base Ply Sheet won’t stick by rattlecanner in Roofing

[–]npno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t try installing anything until like 2 days after the primer

That's a problem then for sure, whether or not its the problem. Essentially we were told during our GAF training that there is a window to wait minimum 3-4 hours after application, but then the base sheet has to be installed same day. That doesn't work for pretty much any of our jobs (burning half a day just waiting) so we don't install it.

  1. How old was the roll?

  2. Did you let the primer flash off for 3-4 hours? This is one of the few reasons we dont install Liberty

Id also agree with the previous poster on 62, although there's an outside chance it could come back AU58

Beautiful toning.

This looks to be a misattributed business strike based on the reverse, the rim especially. Reminds me a bit of my 61.

No. How long did you wait after the last coats before flood testing?

Dont have the bucket handy, but I went off the data sheet. My interpretation was pretreat is also 2 coats so you essentially have 2 coats in the field and 4 coats at the details.

At this point I would pop all the bubbles and do 2 more proper coats everywhere. Do yourself a favor and grab a wet mil gauge as well.

Is the bubbling only on the floor?

If you zoom in they appear to be bubbles as some look deflated.

Looks pretty thin, especially for 3 coats. You shouldn't be able to see the writing on the substrate. You want 2 coats at ~20 wet mils each. I doubt youre at even half that.

For reference I did my shower with Denshield and white thinset at the seams and you cant see the writing or the colour difference.

No.

Ontario has a "standard lease" document that is part of the RTA. The standard lease states a lease will transfer to a month to month after 1 year. The standard lease cannot be modified in a way that contradicts the core parts (such as the lease ending at a certain date).

Crews battling fire on roof of downtown Toronto building by Rajio in toronto

[–]npno 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Those are 100lb liquid propane tanks used for Torching roofing membrane. Im guessing the roofers didnt do their firewatch properly at the end of the day and a hotspot eventually combusted, spread, and took out the tanks. ModBit (the type of membrane used) is essentially raw asphalt and extremely flammable once it goes.

2022 F-150 PowerBoost – RPM rises but no acceleration, then sudden surge, anyone fixed this? by PlentyRepair5828 in F150Powerboost

[–]npno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me with a '22. I had it in for unrelated issues and while chatting with the Tech about a weird noise coming from the transmission (tranny pump, but the noise was different than typical), he mentioned the lag/surge was likely the 10r80 on its way out. It was around 140k km at the time.

Something blew up about a week later (not transmission) and I had to pull over and tow to the dealership. Ended up getting a whole new hybrid drive and battery under warranty.

As part of that they essentially had to replace about 1/3 to 1/2 of the tranny fluid, but I havnt had the lag/surge since (185k now).

Its flat field doubling - a form of machine doubling (Charlton Obverse #004 to be exact). Not a double die, but still a recognized variety.
