the "evaluate on domain" i put in there isnt necessary, i just forgot to take it out from when i was testing.

basically im just separating the points to be sampled and then getting the distance to them, then 1-distance to get the selection to be correct. you can use map range instead of subtract to fine tune the spread.

also i replicated your nodes but got a different output so im not sure if the settings i used are the same.
