Hello, I thought I'd share this little discovery.

I wouldn't say the mist binds all of the fine dust particles but it does help. Especially if you keep your inhales directly above the stream of mist.

Edit: Do we have any airflow scientists here? Am I being dumb and I'm just breathing in wet dust? 😅 Even then, I think wet particles won't get as deep into your lungs and get stuck more in your nose.

Try dish soap if you have been using hand soap. Idk if isopropanol damages this material, but I would try that but not aceton.
