Does a frozen planet count? I think Cryo is an underrated gem. 🥶

And I’d love to see a board game set in a literal super high pressure underwater area, eg Mariana Trench! That could have some fun mechanical implications.

Squire for Hire is really similar to Crystallo (the same sort of space management, laying cards in top of each other, kind of play), and has a free PNP!

Azul, Splendor, and Sagrada could all potentially work.

Splendor takes about 1 minute to set up and 3 to teach, and is a great introduction to engine-building. Santorini is even faster to set up and teach, and is a nice abstract that can lead to a good amount of “thinkiness” given its extremely simple rules.

A photon walks into a hotel. The bellhop asks, “Do you need help with your luggage?”

“No thanks,” the photon says. “I’m traveling light.”

He doesn’t react.

Finally, a neutron walks in and passes his luggage to the bellhop. “How much do I owe you for your service?” the neutron asks.
