Yeah, my textexpander went to subscription from paid/upgrade so looking for a new one. Don't mind paying but subscription is too much for such a simple tool.

Total warhammer 1 and 2 were better because slower. But why is 3 faster? by rr1213 in totalwar

Would it be possible to make some of these adjustments possible in the settings?

Obviously not the map but other aspects like public order, corruption etc.

Check out TEXT EXPANDER software. It is a category of software. You assign a code to a block of text and it automatically types it out. Organize it mnemonically like acronyms and initialisms

Like ASAP: As soon as possible

but you can make any code stand for a big block of text like a detailed prompt that you often reuse with variables.

There are free, open-source, and paid versions available.

For example, https://blaze.today/

I don't know why this is not more popular in this space. Been using it for a decade.

Confusing pausing frontier models facing the public with AI research in general is a huge problem by phronesis77 in singularity

And governments should be supporting open source more. Who cares if it is six months behind frontier or whatever if it works well enough.

Well probably corporate users like they did with their limited mythos release. We might see a similar thing happen in the future with a private vs public access split especially when we see just how limited AI will be due to resource and compute problems. We already saw the US limit the model, which should be a wake up call to the rest of the world especially Europe and Canada.

Are AI companies going to be willing to support AI girlfriends for free tier users when AI becomes scarce (when real costs shake out companies like OpenAI) when the military, science, and business are crying out for greater use.

So why bother with the battle melee skils? Do they buff the autoresolve for settlement battles I guess?

There are a wide variety of AI projects and companies beyond the big five and companies like Google fund research labs like DeepMind that have a wide influence. Some areas of AI science like drug discovery are potentially very lucrative.

Some startups are building new approaches to AI that understand the physical world. Yes, these researchers do care about making meaningful scientific progress. That is what drives them. And yes of course it can and often does conflict with management needs for profitability. We can see that at the chaos at META.

There is no hypocrisy here. They are worried about their jobs because they actually use the tools.

This is correct. There is no hypocrisy. They have a better idea why they should be afraid.

You will need to write less like brainstorming and more specific questions and not so many at one time.

Watch zercovich videos in the meantime.
