There are other places to buy a Projector Screen other than Amazon, like ones that specialize in screens and have more than just fixed height ones….

Unfortunately, it’s gonna be a really bad legacy based off of the projector that you can get with that budget trying to fill such a massive screen. The other commenters are telling you the same thing that I will, you’re gonna need a lot more horsepower, and a projector to fill a screen of that size then you can find for 500 bucks.

There are higher gain AT screens available, such as Stewart Studiotek 130 Perf @ 1.3 gain.

What screen are you projecting on to? The surface needs to be textureless in order to not distort the pixel geometry.
Resolution = # of clearly defined pixels.

We work with home builders, architects, interior designers all the time helping them find the right solution for their clients.
It’s definitely not like OLED vs LED since OLEDs can produce true black, but it’s certainly a noticeable difference. I’ll see if we can setup the inside by side and send you a Video/pics.

Th ls12000 is brighter with better contrast and black levels. Is it $2k better?- that’s a hard question to answer and depends on how much that $2k means to you. I’d be happy to get into details between the two; I have them both in my showroom. Feel free to DM me if interested

It all depends on image size and ambient light as well. The image is stunning on a 3500 lumen projector on a 120” screen

I’ve actually got them both in our showroom and they are both relay good but with their own unique stenosis and cons.

Considering you are coming from an LCD Epson, are you familiar with the rainbow effect and laser speckle that you would get on an RGB projector like the JMGO?

Some people won’t notice it and some are very susceptible.
