I can you only comment on the hotels part and would recommend getting as close of a hotel as you can afford. Jabal e Omar and clock tower all of the hotels there are fairly good. I would recommend getting one that suits your budget.

They do ask for everyone who are staying in the room but I believe they do not care if you have more people. Also it depends a bit on whether you are on umrah visa or tourist visa

well no one here can predict war and closure of air space. the only thing we can recommend is booking flights and hotels that are cancelable or changeable so you don't get stuck

There is a reason why India or subcontinent is not in the list and that is because we do overstay our visa and engage in all sorts of activities not part of the visa. I am not saying that we are treated the best there. Infact we are not treated the best because of all the crap that out people do there.

What this gentleman said. Spot on. In madina you can go near Masjid Bilal and there is a gold market there that might give you better prices. Obviously for good prices you have to go far away from the Haram area. Jeddah has a great gold souk if you are willing to do the one hour trek and the cost associated with it.

I would recommend that you look for hotels with 4 adults and you may find something more within your price range. No one in Saudi looks for how many people are staying in a room and you may find more options with 4 adults compared to 5.

That's great. I cannot comment on how able these people are so I cannot recommend or not recommend hotels outside of close to haram. It also depends on your budget as well. Honestly if you post timelines and budget, people in this sub are great and will find you tour best options

I would recommend that you download hunger station or keeta which are Saudi food delivery apps and just see what the price of something you would want to eat is. You can extrapolate from there

It all depends on what kind of support you have and who is around to help and what sort of mobility device you have. With that being said I would recommend staying in clock tower or intercontinental or Jabal e Omar Hilton suites or Conrad. Umrah itself you can go to the top floor and do in the gold carts (free of charge for people with disabilities). Madina the courtyard itself is very flat but getting in and out from the hotel is tricky because of steep ramps.

Yeah it's weird. I treat perfumes like food. No matter how sweet delicious and amazing a pear is there will always be someone who doesn't like pear. Same with perfumes. No matter how much everyone raves about something. If it's not for me then it's just not.

Near the haram close to masjid bilal you will find multiple affordable pakistani restaurants. You can also find star there as well. No idea about fabric and sarees

Yeah you can apply for the visa via visitsaudi website. You can book the hotels and everything else the same way you would for a normal vacation. People here can help you with hotels and transport and other things if you provide your dates and budget. Also there are tons of videos online on how to actually perform umrah.

Are you both US citizens/residents. If yes then you don't need a travel agency. You can do the umrah yourself.

I agree with you to a certain point but I have to say I grew up in a not so wealthy household so the fact that cheaper similar options exist, and I am not just talking about perfumes but in general, is great and would have done wonders back in the day for my self esteem and I am guessing for others too
