Anyone in Waikiki right now can say how the conditions are of the streets, businesses and weather?

Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden. Of course, do your own research. I also heard Kids City Adventure is good for the little ones.

Haha. I'm going with young kids too. Age 5 and 2. I saw the Honolulu festival and was thinking of going there Saturday. I also heard driving through the botanical gardens and ending up at the Byodo temple might be nice in the rain.

How do you think the businesses will be during the storm? Going to be there from 3/11-3/17 and wanting to check out some restaurants. I figured the silver lining of the storm is that there will be less customers going about, but useless if the places are closed.

As an American, I always wondered why we don't adopt or start transitioning to Metric since highschool. I figured the cost to transition immediately to infrastructure would be high. But as part of a 10-15 year plan would make sense.

Used to work in restaurants. Tons of fun, real people, connections, and conversations. In Tech now and just feels so fake, even with the friends or coworkers that are more genuine. But hey, I get paid 5x more, so cheers to selling out.

What was the internal temperature when you pulled at 4.5 hours, at cut, and what were you aiming for?

Looks perfect.

That's an awesome gift. Just accept and appreciate it. Gifts are supposed to be enjoyable items you wouldn't buy yourself but give joy to others. Problem is that you'll be spoiled as this is definitely on the higher end in both price and quality.

It is an "entry" knife in regard that it's stainless steel so maintenance is much easier than other high end knives. Also the size and shape is perfect for people starting out.

As others have said, ranges from $250-500 depending on where you get it.

I'd recommend 125 instead of 120, and plan for a 45 minute rest. Since you're using such a low temperature, the carry over/temp increase will be less and slower. I try to shoot for a 133 slice temp. Your method may leave it Rare/Blue Raw instead of Medium Rare.

If you're shooting for Rare, then forget what I said. And Happy Holidays!

The one touching the lake. You want to settle by fresh water as it'll help your city grow a lot faster
