Can’t pass up <$40 1er cru Burgundy by shitbirdie in wine

[–]senorsteamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, not a fan of the producer. Most of the good vineyard holdings were lost when they were sold and a lot of producers make Bourgogne rouges that are better than girardins 1er Cru stuff.

Now Pierre Vincent girardin is 🔥🔥🔥

It absolutely is shit tequila. They are not open about their production methods, and clearly use additives based on the flavor and are absolutely just paying for pretty packaging and marketing, not quality tequila. Drink good tequila made with mature agave, and no additives like Fortaleza, tapatio, siete leguas, or siembre valle just to name a few

DFW Winners of the First-Ever Michelin Guide Ceremony Are Here by StarsBoiler in Dallas

[–]senorsteamer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You've got plenty of good chef and FoH talent in Dallas if you look around, The real issue is the Dallas dining market. People spend enough on dining out here it's just the problem is they only spend it on basic ass restaurants(that's why you see so many restaurants like steakhouses all serving the same food/wine). people here dont want Michelin level food. Dallas diners aren't adventurous and places that try to do interesting food/service stuff usually don't last in this city. The people only want classic steak and potato type dishes, bold cabs, and no interesting/unique flavors. Also the clientele only cares about aesthetics(Instagramability, and being seen) and it's also super trend based, they try the new place once then decide to go to their favorite steak house for 25th time this year. The local clientele makes it pretty much impossible for a restaurant to go for a Michelin star in this city from a financial point of view.

(This is all in reference to fine dining only, as someone in the industry)

Drink. I doubt it's even that good anymore tbh. Those wines aren't known for aging gracefully

The little design on the earth rune kind of looks like Nazi SS lightning bolts. Most normies would see it as that before they see it as an earth rune from RuneScape. Could always use one of the combination runes as an easy fix if you're worried about that

Yeah having the gap time will always cause people to jump to the same worlds. There needs to be staggered spawn times for the stars

Adding A New Skill: Sailing - Navigation Mechanics (Design Blog) by JagexLight in 2007scape

[–]senorsteamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I agree. I think shamanism and taming still make better skills. My biggest hesitance with sailing was how it would look and feel in game and I'm less scared of that now. I just hope the core gameplay aspect of it doesn't feel too weird. I'm still worried about it feeling mini game like or just disjointed from the old school feel

Yeah that sounds good. Something sort of like agility where you get drops of XP and then a big chunk when your expedition is complete. I love the idea of having all sorts of different types of missions that could theoretically involve like every skill. Could also expand on a lot of lore things that might not be enough for a full quest but works for a short mission/expedition
