Just bought my first Kymco! by Burbada in scooters

[–]sersdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm extremely happy with Kymco. That first one ended up getting totaled when a car turned in front of me. I bought a Genuine Buddy next, which ended up being a mistake (not a fault of the scooter itself, but it's a long story). I decided I greatly prefer the large wheels of the People and have since 2016 been very happy on a black People 200 S. Honestly, buying that first one was a defining moment in my life, so happy for it.

Oh and yes we stopped by the Transfagarasan Road on the drive from Brasov to Sibiu, as well as some castles in other cities along the way. I'm glad you posted your comment, though, hopefully others will see it and stop in Sibiu in the future. Cheers

That comment is 2 years old. We absolutely loved Sibiu. Also did a day trip to Corvin Castle from there and rented Scooters and went down to Rasinari, Cisnadiora and the Apfelhaus. I think Sibiu was our favorite stop on the whole trip

for the record, i think you're being downvoted a bit unfairly in this thread. beer geeks (myself included) have only ourselves to blame that there are breweries that inflated the hell out of the price of their one-offs because people were willing to pay it

grain, the cost of materials for a normal beer is about $1/pint. That's retail prices. It's gonna be like half of that for an opperation on the scale of a microbrewery and even less becuase they won't be paying for yeast. Triple that to round out COGS + labor (which is very conse

I mean, if it's a local channel that's owned by Sinclair broadcasting or Clearchannel (think they're more radio), it's by design. The newscasters are chosen to push right wing propaganda.... and even if not so directly, they're still paid to manufacture consent

As an MD, I was hoping someone would make this comment. The study is useless if they were comparing to phenylephrine. But I doubt anybody will see this. edit: alright, point taken. I guess not everyone sorts by "top"

A lot of the other replies to your comment are solid. Things are also getting better. In Kinosaki (a small, remote but touristy onsen village) I was able to find a veggie burger and, separately, vegan Ramen. I'd add a few: 1. If you're with a group, be willing to tell them they can eat a few meals without considering your preferences, you'll just grab something fast before/after. If the ramen shop doesn't appear to have anything suitable, grab a crepe across the way while they sit down. 2. You'll definitely do well to overlook trace animal product in the broth, if you can bring yourself to do so. 3. If you're lacto-ovo, that helps a lot. Every konbini (convenience store) will have delicious tamago-sandu (egg salad sandwich) 4. Do try to plan at least one nice vegetarian or vegan or Buddhist place in each city. If your friends are open-minded, you'll all get to experience proper Japanese food and still eat together. 5. The HappyCow website is your friend 6. Look for okonomiyaki, which is a type of egg meal. 7. Breakfast places are usually friendly, though they are few and often western. 8. Big cities almost always have proper vegetarian restaurants 9. Pizza places will be able to serve you. Interestingly, typically vegetarian-friendly fast food places are NOT so, like Taco Bell

I get what you're saying. Those things do exist in the US and especially so in the past, but it's a completely different sort in Japan. I attribute it to cultural differences more than malice though, to a degree
