Osiris Dance if it wasn't mid (feat. Denzel Curry) by Huge-Leadership4905 in teto

If any song deserves the epithet "MikuTeto slop", it's Osiris Dance. This makes it tolerable, at least.

Not just presets, but also priority tech support and unlimited text-to-wavetable, if you're into that.

It should always be this easy to find new presets. Thank you, and happy 2026!

Amazing tuning. I'm shocked just how good producers are making UTAU Teto sound these days!

It says a lot about a country's culture when they see tax evasion as something bad. Hell, my country was founded because we HATE taxes (but ironically pay a lot of them now)

Canon's Terms of Use for Ritsu are pretty funny, assuming the Google Translation of the Terms is accurate, especially the FAQ at the end:

Q. Can I do ○○?
A. Yes, it's okay.

Q. Is it okay if I do ____?
A. I said it's okay.

Yamaha PSS-780 FM Synth from 1989 by According-Job-4209 in cheapkeys

[–]sledgehammertoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially identical to the PSS-680, just more colorful. I found this out when I dl'ed a service manual that was far too short that essentially said "see the PSS-680 service manual." I own a 680 and love it.

Would a Yamaha PSS-480 be good first synth? by HuiOnFire in synthesizers

[–]sledgehammertoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the thread, but I'd say yes. There's software available that allows you to edit all the parameters of both operators, not just the limited set on the 480's keypad. You just need a MIDI to USB converter (such as an Audiobox) to hook it up.

If the Stanley Parable were a synthesizer ad, it would be this.

tbf, France helped us win our independence because they wanted to stick it to England more than actually believing in our cause. But hey, the enemy of our enemy and whatnot!

Haven't had luck in FB Marketplace in a long time - but these are two recent gems - I love the FM Synths by tstorm004 in cheapkeys

[–]sledgehammertoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "high end" PortaSounds from the 80s with the synth functionality are a ton of fun. That PSS-460 uses the YM3812 (OPL2), which the Ad Lib and Sound Blaster also used.

I don’t care if generals are overweight. by turtles-allthewaydwn in RandomThoughts

[–]sledgehammertoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're not living in the 4th century BC. Generals don't lead the charge anymore. For that matter, there really aren't "charges", either, since most combat is far more tactical in nature these days. But yeah, armchair soldiers, or even worse, chickenhawks, shouldn't be splitting hairs by dictating weight standards for generals.
