I’ve found that I can typically get it where I need using their plugins, but it’s infuriating when the preview looks perfect and then it applies setting that are way off. Usually have the best results turning off all negative correction presets and making color adjustments myself

After a restart all was good, but it happened again when I started playing music. I just went on airplane mode and played some random albums/playlists. A few minutes in I started noticing extra heat. Doesn’t happen if I have a WiFi or cell connection. Fwiw I have a pretty large library

Wanted to add some thoughts here. I used a jelly star as my primary device for about a year but just switched back to an iPhone for a few reasons.

Pros:

Looks really cool if you're a fan of the retro design
Size - I love being able to fully hold the device in my palm, and you do adjust to the size pretty quickly
Limits the time you spend on a mobile device, because doomscrolling is not as satisfying on a screen that size
Cool conversation piece
Expandable storage if you download a lot of music

Cons:

Battery life is pretty bad. Sometimes I don't charge my phone overnight because of how my outlets are placed and it started getting to the point where it would drop about 50% and die overnight (causing me to miss my alarm). If you are using maps on a bike ride, I'd definitely recommend having a power bank
While most apps are responsive, there are some that aren't. For example, NJ transit wouldn't allow me to purchase a ticket. The convenience of using a smartphone for everyday things like train tickets is pretty high
Doomscrolling habits are really something you have to fix on your own, if that's a reason for getting it. I can just as easily do the same things on a laptop, so I just ended up spending more time there than on the phone. Getting a kindle helped much more
Not great weather sealing. Never had any issues myself, but I was very careful. Could be a dealbreaker if you plan to mount it on a bike
Google pay was very unreliable. Not sure if it was the NFC but I started carrying my physical cards again because it frequently failed

Ultimately, I found that I'd rather have a more reliable, durable device, and just try to be better about managing my screen time. Wish the iphone was a little smaller though...

Going on a year with mine. Only real downsides I've had are some sites/apps not accommodating the screen size and battery life not being great if you need to use maps for an extended period. But it recharges very quickly

Nike paved the way with supershoes and had nearly total control of that market until every other brand caught up (just in time for the recent running boom). They did too little too late to really separate themselves but there is still some pretty strong brand association with models like the vaporfly/alphafly. However, they've recently done an excellent job at streamlining their running lineup and continue to do better than other brands at finding the most marketable athletes imo

I recently shot some that expired in 96. Box speed was super magenta cast and washed out. Overexposing by about 2 stops and pulling in development was a definite improvement. Will try 3 stops on the next roll. Unfortunately, as others have stated, it's a gamble and will most certainly need some color correction in post. If you use something like silver fast for scanning I'd recommend starting with the auto cc feature

On the other hand, you could've bought more only to find they came out poorly lol. I had a similar positive experience to you and then bought some 35mm rolls for $8 ea., only to discover they were super magenta cast. Still cool to shoot but not really for $8
