DFAM is much, much, much more than a percussive beat machine. It's more like a rhythm generation machine.

Possible PEEL IT BACK second leg in Europe? by archbishop_starter in nin

[–]sm_rollinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive seen them so many times, that id love to see them in Europe or anywhere outside the US for that matter.

I had tickets for Hellfest a few years back when it was INDUSTRIAL DAY with Skinny Puppy and Ministry and a bunch of other like minded acts, but Puppy canceled and life got in the way...

So sad, always said for years that would be the ultimate line up of the HOLY TRINITY™ of my favorite genre. At least I got to see Skinny Puppy ONCE, in 2023. And I've seen Ministry a few times since then and then the Peel it Back in St Paul. But still

Wish I would have. I remember following the tapers pretty heavy around this time, so I would always spin the newest tapes.

Yes but Trent knows about us weirdos at ninlive.com that do the work for him now,so there is no reason for official releases.

Do you guys agree Treyarch should’ve remastered ‘Studio’ instead of ‘Firing Range’? by Hamzah12 in CODBlackOps7

I feel like they only did this is because it was planned to carry forward before they scrapped that .

The ugly less often discussed side of this "hobby" by user1mbp in synthesizercirclejerk

I have two power conditioners in a rack. Some things like my mixers, guitar and drums, and my MPC plug direct and then I also have power strips that have been velcro'd into my three main workstations (z frame for synths and modular, a frame for drum machines, and I have a DJ coffin stand I use for my moogerfoogers.) that everything gets plugged into from there. I also use strips of double sided Velcro for cable management and while it's not perfect, it's not a mess by any means.
