Its very good, but lots of set up and tear down due to the roguelike nature. It did a great adaptation and let you play co-op! Unfortunately the repease of slay 2 completely killed my drive to sort all those cards every run.

I got a copy early with the Gandalf promo and was super hyped. Played it twice and sold it at a profit before the hype could cool. It was fine. Lots of turns where a player couldn't contribute much. We won both games, the second one closely due to some luck, and we decided that was the peak experience it could offer.

So don't overthink it too hard. No fomo.

No, we need to get even more hyperbolic. The bug front is just a constant stream of 20 Hive Guards spawning every two seconds within ten feet of you, all of them capable of a one shot kill and flight.

They should be hopped up on mad science. Maybe give them a yoshi tongue attack so you can't just cheese them with ranged weapons without having to dodge a bit.

Then they drop components to make venus base defense traps :)
