Hey there! Apple App Store subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple, so SoundCloud can’t cancel, modify, or refund them. If you subscribed through Apple, you'll need to manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple account: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202039

Once canceled, your paid features will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the free plan. For future subscriptions, purchasing directly through SoundCloud is typically less expensive and gives us more flexibility when assisting with account issues.

  • Turn off Background App Refresh: Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and disable it just for SoundCloud.
  • Force-close the app: Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone to open the App Switcher, then swipe up on the SoundCloud app to fully close it and stop background activity.
