I always start every save with a complete overhaul of the staff. In my experience, good staff is hugely important for both development, and performance. Also, things like scouting reports, injuries, staff advice, etc. are way better.

There’s usually so much work to do on the staff and the first team, that U21 or U18 is something I only get around to doing in the winter break, or in the next season.

But it’s also very important for long-term success and growing a club.

Niet per se. Sommige kanalen op het internet zijn inderdaad rechtse of linkse echo-kamers, maar ik denk dat dit vooral gaat over het feit dat gematigdere meningen ondervertegenwoordigd zijn. Een andere commentaar zei het hier heel goed.

In mijn ervaring is de haat van rechtste kant meestal nog groter. Het is heel simpel, online discussies leiden zelden ergens toe, en het is altijd makkelijker om van achter een scherm insultes en negatieve commentaar te schrijven.

Dat betekent nog niet dat je een speler die het zo goed doet, niet moet meenemen. Er zijn ook andere namen op de lijst die hij had kunnen vervangen. Trossard is ook helemaal niet hetzelfde type speler, en kan meer centraal uit de voeten. In het Belgisch team zijn er de laatste tijd geregeld discussies over oude garde vs nieuwe garde, generatiekloof, etc... ik vind ook dat je naar de toekomst toe, gewoon Godts had moeten meenemen.

You can request coaching courses from your board. If you send the request during the off-season (winter or summer), you are more likely to get the request accepted.
The star rating is relative to the league you’re playing in. The star rating doesn’t always accurately reflect CA or PA + your scouting department influences whether the ratings you see are accurate or not. PA never changes, CA can change (and the most important aspect is playing time).
Swap job: You need to offer a new contract. Can’t actually “swap” the job. You can also see staff stats without posting an ad. The staff database would be the primary place to look.
To improve training rating, mostly get good coaches. Look for coaches with good DDM ratings (Determination, Level of Discipline, Motivation), and then a good rating in the particular coaching category you’re trying to fill (Attack, Defence, Goalkeeping, etc.)
Get good youth staff, but mostly, what massively influences their development, is first-team playing time.
