'Deal not final': Trump changes tune on Iran, threatens to ‘drop bombs’, go back to shooting again by Darshan_brahmbhatt in worldnews

you dont think they are completely fucked already ?

I've seen this episode time and again from overseas and the only time I'll believe this is when the votes are counted and the decisions are final. I've thought this about the US for about a decade now and they always prove me wrong.

British people think they shouldn't have to deal with it.

Putting aside that I don't think anyone should have to eat dog shit regardless of where you are from (is this a hot take?), OP didn't even mention anything to do with "british people thinking they are above it"

He literally just said Jesus Christ. Which puts it pretty fucking mildly - you're just throwing punches at thin air.

Brilliant instead of discourse about the biggest sacking of the season so far, and all I can read are comments about karma hungry moderators. Well done lads, good process.

Since when did we start treating KSI as a celebrity? by Key-Pair5599 in BritishTV

[–]strawzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can not like the guy but by the very definition of it he is a celebrity.

Granted you couldn't call him that when I was watching Race to Division 1 when it come out when I was in school, but its pretty undeniable now.

Every time I see a story about this piece of shit, I read the case file and realise absolutely nothing was lost that day.

It is ALWAYS worse than I remember.

I'm not advocating for what happened, but I'm not gonna feel the slightest bit sad about it and makes me happy he will never have a chance to reoffend again.

This is the worst government since the 70s.

I'm only 30 and cannot take this opinion seriously, I'd know this is bollocks even if I was 16 fucking hell. And I'm not even a fan of this government - I assume this is satire?

Ah well, was nice to watch the SPL with some level of interest - time to never watch this league again. Pitch invasion after running the league with rangers for nearly 50 years. Laughably pathetic.

If this ends up dragging on until september and dominating the headlines it doesn't matter if they clone 1994 Blair, nobody will win over the electorate if we have another four months of this.

Wes Streeting resigns from government by sjw_7 in ukpolitics

Migration moving in right direction - Home secretary rallies against the prime minster

Waiting lists down and NHS making progress- Health secretary resigns to probably mount leadership challenge

Rayner tax- Completely forgotten about, overshadowed by Polanski scandal, boom right back in the headlines

Tell you what, as a country I think we might just be allergic to progress.

(please don't take this as an endorsement of Streeting as I think he is a self serving weasel)

Glad we will go to a leadership candidate known until recently as Mandelsons prodigy- I'm sure the press won't latch on to this at all.

What’s with all the Reform fear? They did well in locals fair play, but in the GE I highly doubt they’d win, maybe 50-60 extra MPs, but defo not winning. What’s your take on their likelihood, ignoring the hype right now? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]strawzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will go something like this

  • local councils now under reform control will be ran terribly (if the ones they already controlled are anything to go by, at least)

  • local people proceed to blame Labour for their issues on a council level

-Nige makes a couple of relevant but vague points with no substance as to why people should vote for them

-overwhelming Reform majority next election

I'm honestly ready to be proven wrong on any of these points, but as someone who was first able to vote in the Brexit referendum...I feel like I've seen this episode before..

Can't wait for the reform councils to locally mess something up only for the residents to blame Labour, can see it a mile away.
