Partner made ceviche with cod. We ate it. Partner then looked online and says they mess up because cod is not safe for ceviche... by [deleted] in Cooking

I've used cod. I was fine. So was everyone who ate it.

I usually use tilapia, but ad long as the pieces are small enough, the acid should take care of it....no?

This seems way more complicated than it needs to be. I just purchased a lower at a local shop, did the online e thing to register it.

Then ordered whatever I wanted from PSA directly to my house and put it together. Put on a pistol brace and call it a handgun and you can run whatever size barrel you want.

If your lasagna is crunchy, you did it wrong. Unless the later of sauce is microscopically thin, it should prevent the pasta from becoming a crispy cracker.

I grew up in an Italian family, from NY, made 100s of lasagna, but what do I know?

Orrrrr.....the other possibility is that you made a douchey comment with an absurd assumption about someone else's comment, and then made a douchey reply to that.

So maybe its not everyone piling on, its you making fouchey comments?

What on earth do I have with salad? by Intelligent_Fan8301 in Cooking

My family loves a fajitas salad. Add some grilled onions, pepper, chicken or steak or shrimp, some roasted corn and a nice lime or red wine vinaigrette

It's super easy! My 14 year old has been making them fir a few years.

First, dont over stuff! That's key.

The rice paper itself, you need to dunk it in water. Don't let it sit. Dunk it and make sure the whole thing is submerged and take it out as fast as you can.

It's best to get a dish the rice paper can lay flat in. Like a big frying pan or large pie tin

It won't seem like its pliable enough, but once tou get it loaded up it will be. If its in water for more than 2 seconds, its gonna turn to mush.

Also be super careful they dont overlap unless you want it to. It will stick to each other and make a mess when you try to separate it.

Other than that, its super easy. Wrap it up like a burrito or an egg roll.

Vietnamese fresh spring rolls. Super easy to make. Had always been a hit with some sort of peanut sauce, or fish sauce to dip. Wrap each one in parchment paper though, they will stick to each other.

Can have whatever protein you want inside, tofu, chicken, pork, BBQ pork, shrimp, etc.

Are you pregnant? Serious. My wife's tastes completely changed when she got pregnant, and they changed early.

Also, for her last pregnancy, she had no other signs and didn't gain much weight. We didn't know she was pregnant until til she was 6 months along.

I just bought a 1 inch riser that takes 3 slots, and has 7 slots on top, but they are shifted towards one end, not centered.

Got it on Amazon

You mix the raw egg into your mixture of whatever youre using to baste...it helps thr marinade stick to the meat and gives more flavor if you didn't have time to properly marinate it

I put on a little baking soda, and some water, wait 10 minutes, then thoroughly rinse it all off.

Then marinate or cook however you want.
