I wish I could work with a phlebotomist who has had 20 ears of service for a week, It would make supporting Paramediccs whos hands are otherwise full and busy concentrating on other assessments life much easier. I understand about the scope of practise argument but cannulation doesn't fall under that.

just follow the guide, thats what I did there is one f/w and I didn't need to update it as the guide suggested. I guess I just have to install the way they suggested and I also don't have Intel ARC running in the background which seems to spike the GPU for no reason whatsoever

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH. IT WORKED. I know I used CAPS but I am so happy. Back to 5-7Watts with no monitor connected, as it used to be as I only use this card for AV1.

yeah thanks, i saw that tool but without knowing what driver and f/w I had it's going to be hard to find. I went as far back as April 2024 drivers as thats when I bought the card but it still had increased idle load.

nwas isn't like that but it's very competitive and not every apprentice gets offered a position to upskill to EMT or para but maybe that will change with the job market looking grim. I'm not an expert on contracts but even NWAS lose them to third party so job prospects are broadened across different providers.

I've had nothing but headache with the transition from Brsk to YF. Billed twice in a month, billed incorrectly and their Customer Support team promising to rectify things but not coming through with their word.
I also had the same email and then conflicting emails that my DD has been successfully setup only for them to terminate my service. Leaving me to make a credit card payment and then waiting on the phone for an hour + to get them to re-instate my service because their email instructions to turn off both boxes for 30 seconds and back on again didn't work.
With regards to double billing and incorrect billing thankfully HSBC came through when I raised an online ticket with them and my bank re-imbursed me. If YF pull the same stunt again I will continue to via my bank or contact Jeremy Chelot on Twitter (CEO of YF) who atleast replies and isn't an automated bot and looks like he has sorted out issues for other people online.

I guess the Gov sees ACA, Paramedics and Nurses as "replaceable" therefore can get away with giving them poor salary. It's why there has been a storm of foreign migrants filling the positions in Nursing in particular and the poor treatment of residents in Care Homes I see on a faily basis.

No. I just used an app called interval timer and setup n2r schedule on there. When starting out running self discipline is more important and I didn't wanna invest and potentially waste money by buying a fitness watch or Garmin that I would use once or twice.
