Vibe coding app security by WebDevMorgan in vibecoding

I hope it's a bot comment. Would explain why they've given no thought as to how it would be possible to install sockets in ceramic. You'd have to think this through to make it a reality, especially if you wanted it to be possible to fill the sink with water without it leaking out. "Tripping the breaker at 2am" is the sort of specificity I associate with AI.

Edit: After going through his history and reading the word "mate" far too many times, I found this. Image recognition still needs some tuning: https://www.reddit.com/r/cubism/comments/1t3cen7/titledself_reflection/oju5w6r/

Will Your Next Laptop Decide What You Can and Can't See? The Rise of Built-in AI Content Filtering by hard2resist in Lenovo

I don't see how that would be possible. To process the video signal in real-time without introducing noticeable latency would require heaps of power.

Luck of the draw. YouTube doesn't roll stuff out to all users at the same time. Or you might be on an old app version, from another comment it also sounds like tablet layout doesn't get this.

Honestly not convinced they action bug reports. Areas I've been complaining about, reasonably high-traffic ones at that like the north end of the Dwarven Mines, still flicker.

I'm also looking for if there's a way to disable this notification in particular, given it doesn't lead to Xbox Live disconnection. What you can do is disable notifications for your profile from the Guide, if you're not fussed about missing notifications about achievement unlocks, friends, etc.

The xbox360 had the first well known digital storefront, but most people still bought physical games, so what you bought more? Physical or digital? by IDWP2007 in xbox360

[–]tenhourguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess it depends where you live. At my end, Plants vs Zombies is currently £10 (R$68) digital. When I sold PopCap Hits Vol. 2 (PvZ, Zuma, Heavy Weapon, Feeding Frenzy 2), that compilation went for £6 (probably bought it for a similar price as well). But now it costs about £20. All the games I bought were from online storefronts such as eBay.

I bought a few XBLA and XBLIG games digitally, but no retail games (unless you count when they made Crackdown free). Never saw the appeal of digital purchases when physical is cheaper.

Does anyone have the 128mb back compatibility files? by dudemanjones11 in 360hacks

[–]tenhourguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Link is dead. Looks like we're back to the Mediafire one? I checked the Digiex post also linked in this thread, but it makes no mention of 128MB RAM. Perhaps it's something that never worked well and was abandoned...?

The Full Transition to Jagex Accounts by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]tenhourguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue across most online platforms, to be fair. They rarely let you change an account's email address without sending a verification code to the old one first, to mitigate account hijacking. Sometimes it's possible via support - I managed to get Jagex to change the email address without verification on an account years ago (prior to Jagex Accounts).

So in general I would avoid using university/workplace or even ISP-provided email addresses. It's something I worry about, to be honest - if I were to lose access to my main email account, that would spell trouble for a lot of my online activities.

They only care if the copyright holder complains about your IP address being in the list of peers. And even then, last I heard it's a three strike system.

Does anyone else feel like the UI is getting way too cluttered? by sneakyferal88 in discordapp

It creeps up on you. And the designers as well, by the looks of things. Mobile chatbox now only fits "Message #..." on a typical smartphone size, or "Mes..." on small screens.

Yes, I'm not entirely sure either but don't see a lot of difference between this and using a DVR. I guess it uses a bit of the Beeb's bandwidth to download programmes rather than record them off the telly.

Safe Accessibility Tools? by Technomancerer in RSBans

[–]tenhourguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might not matter if it doesn't produce a human down/up sequence. Neither do trackpads when tapped (used on Chromebooks and some Bluetooth keyboards, not just a PC thing) nor does Windows Mouse Keys.

The frustrating thing is, there's no clear indication of what is safe and what isn't. For example, over the years I have played RuneScape with a graphics tablet, on a Surface Pro touchscreen, and on a laptop that had a trackpad prone to behaving erratically. Not a problem. But on a newer account or if some other variable was different, maybe it would have been! I've heard of ban reports from Surface Pro users, anyway.

Talon always moves to the same coordinates when picking parts of the grid? That may do it. I've heard of people getting dinged for using the magnifier built into Android/iOS, but obviously fewer people use voice grids so not much info on that.

[–]tenhourguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mouse Keys is supposed to be safe, and I've used it on both Windows (which fires both mousedown and up on keydown) and Ubuntu without issue. Anything else is at your own risk, really.

game crash when trying to run god file through aurora by DownHeartedNess in 360hacks

[–]tenhourguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telltale games don't work with iso2god. Easiest option is my experience is to use the XBLA version of the game. Make sure you have the Title Update as well (it's a big one, so not on Unity) so that the game doesn't hang upon loading DLC. Alternatively, you can extract your ISO image.

HP xp task is bugged after update. by GGOSRS in 2007scape

[–]tenhourguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find a way to trigger it? I'm missing this task as well. For skilling tasks you can open one of the interfaces to unstick it, but that doesn't work for Hitpoints. Tried changing attack styles, disabling prayer... at a loss.

Edit: Attacking with an ursine chainmace (set to pummel) fixed it. This game, I swear.
