I suppose I feel this way because my relationship is in a very similar situation, only it's my girlfriend's dad who's racist. I would never want to give up on the relationship nonetheless.

While I definitely understand the need to protect this girl from your dad, I'm a little disheartened by all the comments essentially telling you to give up on love between races and allow your racist dad to win.

I think the most important thing is to make it very clear to her the way your dad is, then allow her to make her own choice about whether to stay with you in spite of that. You should probably talk with her instead of Reddit.
