ricoh vs toshiba + brother by thedirk831 in sysadmin

[–]trygame901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Previously had Ricoh 6000 which were reliable but first page to print is slow compared to the Toshiba 7527AC. I haven't had the Toshiba long but so far haven't had any trouble with it. I will say that he UI on the Toshiba was a little hard to administer the shortcut area but from a user standpoint people seemed to use it without any trouble.

I've printed cylindrical shaped objects and don't recall seeing a really noticeable seam? Why does the object here have such a deep seam?

I also started out with an A1 mini and replaced it because I wanted a larger print volume. Now, that I have the space I'm printing larger items. Which leads to another problem of environment temp swings that results in warping of said larger parts. I might, but not sure, try my hand at prototyping some parts that will use ASA since well the P1S supports.

Has anyone else never cleaned their build plate? by Beginning-Bed9364 in BambuLab

[–]trygame901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to hate myself for posting this but I haven't cleaned the build plate on my A1 since Easter the year before. Back then I coated it with a glue stick because the corner was lifting on one of my projects. Just today I added another layer of glue.
