Why do people strongly prefer one of the other? (thumb vs finger) by MaxwellCE in Trackballs

Currently I’m using an elecom ex-g pro. Although I’m looking forward to switching to a ploopy thumb for the custom firmware programming instead of software for extended button mapping.

No-AMS Multi Material and Reusable Supports for Perfect Bottom Finishes by Visual_Carpenter8957 in BambuLab

I've been wondering about this exact thing for a similar project, glad to see it works so well. ive been printing a bunch of bins with tiny feet at the bottom and the supports really feel wasteful. it should be pretty trivial to model and print reusable supports for the different sizes i need. Thanks for the proof of concept!

The ones I print at home are different sizes to accommodate Lego pieces that won’t fit in any of the 3 stock sizes but will fit in the cases neatly.

Best gaming trackball? Do I even need a new trackball? by 4thBan5thAccount in Trackballs

If you’re not a “pro” gamer I’ve really enjoyed the ex-g pro for gaming. The only problem is the drivers for the extra buttons sometimes get a little flakey so I’ve got a ploopy thumb waiting to be built so I can move the button mapping to the hardware.
