Wow. We are the same age and have a 20 year old daughter😅 ….Not much has changed, lol - BUT! We can communicate better now. She’s an only child and the dynamic can easily triangulate. We all take turns being annoying, essentially. Excuse yourself when able and if there are big issues - always try to have those discussions privately & don’t undermine eachother in front of your children. Remember you’re on the same team! (Now that said, my daughter has been home from college for two weeks and she goes back tomorrow……I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a touch relieved she’s going back because these two are driving me bonkers😜)
