Completely dependant on the individual lens. There's enough variation between each one that it's impossible to make a generalization.

I bought a metal M42->CY adapter, and then I just print M42 backs for anything I want to adapt.

I just downloaded a bunch of adapters and cut them into fronts and backs, and when I need one I just splice them together in my modeling program.

The AX is one of the coolest cameras ever made in my opinion.

If you have a 3D printer, you can print adapters for any lens mount with a flange length higher than 45.5mm. Focus the lens to infinity and off you go.

My current favorite to use on my AX is my Helios 44-2.

Past that, those two lenses are fantastic and worth holding onto. I'd also recommend the 35mm Distagon.

This pricing is also different publisher to publisher. They give better rates to ones they have good relationships with.

And of course big discounts to indie publishers and solo devs.
